The trip from Tokyo took about 3 hours by Shinkansen. Nothing that I can complain about because it will be good for resting after a night flight.
A ride on the shinkansen will be incomplete without an ekiben. I hope to collect as many ekibento container souvenirs as I can for this trip. I guess they might be useful for food storage. Makes the kitchen interesting, plus plenty of good memories every day!
Located inside Tokyo station is a famous Ekibento ‘supermart’. Just between the stairs leading to platform 7 and 6.
