Lake Lugu in China left a deep impression in me. It was a 3 days journey to reach. Besides the long journey that left a deep impression, the culture of the people living there left a deeper impression in me.

The society is matriarch, that means women are the the one in charge. The guys play a secondary role in the society. A women can have many partners and control the money and property in the family. The women are the decision maker. This is completely opposite my Chinese culture. I was surprised by what I learnt and more surprised that their system works well too.
