Producer’s Thought
When I think about loving-kindness, my mind always goes back to the way the Buddha described it in the suttas: as the unconditional love a mother holds for her only child. That profound, fierce devotion is how I relate to Mother Tara. She isn’t just a figure out there on an altar; she is the embodiment of that holy, bright love, and that same capacity lives right inside each of us.
That deep connection is what shaped my new Bodhi Neon release, “Ma Tara.”
Musically, I wanted this track to feel like a soaring, communal awakening. Built around a driving 105 BPM pop groove featuring a Hammond organ, rhythmic handclaps, and an explosive choir, it’s a worshipful dharma-pop journey toward enlightenment under her protective, emerald light. From the opening chant of Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha to the high-energy call-and-response bridge, the song is about letting go of fear, washing away the shame, and stepping into the swift grace of the mother who never lets us fall.
If you are walking through a valley and need a reminder of what unconditional love and inner courage feel like, throw this one on, clap along with the choir, and let the light in. Invoke Ma Tara into your life!
May you be well and happy.
