Producer’s Thought
When the inner noise gets too loud and the path starts to blur, I find myself reaching for something steady to anchor my footing. That exact feeling is what poured out into my latest Bodhi Neon release, “Lotus Born.”
Dedicated to Padmasambhava—the legendary teacher who brought the Dharma to the Himalayan peaks—this track is a spiritual deep-dive disguised as an uplifting dharma-pop anthem. It’s written for those mornings when the mind feels cluttered with old attachments, burning anger, and quiet doubts, yet desperately wants to break through into clarity and compassion.
Musically, “Lotus Born” bridges that space between contemplative devotion and a rhythmic, driving heartbeat. It moves from gentle vulnerability into a powerful, anthemic chorus anchored by the timeless Vajra Guru mantra (Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum). It’s about letting go of what weighs us down, cooling the fire of frustration, and letting wisdom cut through the dark.
If you’ve been needing a musical reset to clear out the mental static and awaken a bit more fearlessness in your daily walk, I hope this song serves as a light for you just as much as it did for me while creating it.
Take a listen, drop into the rhythm, and let the healing begin.
May you be well and happy.
