I’m super excited to share my latest track with you all, “Tongue-Tied.”

If you’ve ever stared at a blinking cursor trying to type a message to a friend, family member, or someone special—only to delete it and send a random GIF instead—this one is definitely for you.

I wanted this song to explore that frustrating moment when our pride or ego steps in, keeping our real feelings locked down. By staying silent and getting all tongue-tied, are we actually just telling a lie? It’s a feeling that goes way beyond romance; it happens in all our everyday relationships when we’re just too stubborn or scared to be honest.

Vibe-wise, I built this as a bright, 116 BPM synth-pop track that pairs driving, feel-good rhythms with a warm, heartfelt vocal. It’s got shimmering synths and clean electric guitars, mixed with a bridge that strips things back before building up to a cathartic finish.

At the end of the day, “Tongue-Tied” is a reminder that we don’t need to be perfect. Sometimes, just letting your heartbeat do the talking is more than enough.
