Balanced Living

The Buddha taught us about the Middle Path and that means avoiding extremes. When we read the life story of Shakyamuni Buddha, we would have learned the importance of self-care. In that story, ascetic Gotama (Buddha before enlightenment and living as an ascetic) nearly starved himself to death by practicing extreme fasting.

Therefore, the first step to Enlightenment starts with Self-care!

It is therefor important for us to strike a balance in life and not take anything into extremes.

Remember to

  1. Establish a healthy work-life balance.
  2. Prioritize self-care activities such as exercise, adequate sleep, and healthy eating.
  3. Allocate time for meaningful relationships.
  4. Regularly assess your life balance and make adjustments.

Living is an art and maintaining a balance in life is a continuous journey. Last but not least, the meaning of balance is different for each of us. Therefore, we have to figure out on our own, what works best for us.

May you be well and happy.
