A woman believed that she was a victim of black magic and had called the police more than 200 times to complain about home intrusion. Since it is supernatural, the police did not find anything amiss when they responded to her distress call.

Instead of sending her to a mental institution in a straight jacket. The police in charge of her case offered to conduct prayers and spiritual home cleansing services for her.

I think this fully illustrate the compassion and skillfulness of Buddhism. Although Buddhism discourage superstitious practices, there are times when such practices can be a beneficial.

Hopefully, that lady will live a peaceful life after the home cleansing service by the police.
