Producer’s Thought

Hey everyone, welcome back. Have you ever joined a spiritual space looking for profound peace, only to realize you’ve walked straight into a corporate machine obsessed with real estate, gossip, and superficial busywork?

That painful realization is the heart behind our latest track, ‘Empty Gate’.

In traditional Chinese Buddhism, entering the ’empty gate’ means stepping out of worldly life and embarking on a genuine path of spiritual renunciation. But what happens when the very temple or organization you joined starts looking more like a materialist social club than a sanctuary of awakening? Inspired by a piece from our blog titled ‘The Freedom to Walk Away’, this song tells the story of someone who looked around at the administrative noise, the ego-driven politics, and the lack of true Dharma, and realized that her ultimate act of renunciation wasn’t joining the building—it was walking away from it.

Your peace doesn’t belong to a brand, a hierarchy, or a crowd that has forgotten the teachings. Sometimes, leaving the crowd is the only way back to the truth.

Turn it up, drop the weight, and let’s walk through the ‘Empty Gate

I hope you enjoy this track. May you be well and happy.
