Today turns out to be all about food. 1st stop for the day is 八市 (Bashi market) with its locals stalls for fresh seafood and breakfast. It’s an interesting sight and quite busy in the morning.
Stalls selling local breakfast and side dishes dotted the market and you can just grab and go. It’s meant for housewives to buy some breakfast home. But there’s no stopping tourists from eating while exploring and juggling cameras. It is okay to do that here. Just watch where you are going because people in tiny scooters zoom around the market too!
Beside such stalls, enterprising merchants have started offering to cook the fresh seafood for you and small eateries have also sprouted like mushrooms in the market.

Following this, was retail therapy in the SM mega mall. Window shopping and endless browsing. Enjoying and appreciating the design and innovation of different products. I even visited a car showroom.

The electric car here is amazing. Imagine driving a car without mirrors to help you look out for traffic. Instead of rear and side mirrors. Cameras are strategically placed around the car and images displayed on the dashboard let you see what’s around you. No more cranking your neck for a better view.
Best find was a restaurant offering fine cuisine. When there is a queue, food will be great. I have to wait for half an hour to get a table.

The best part is the price. All these foods for just about 30 USD and in a restaurant setting.

That’s all for the day.
May all be well and happy.
