I love iceberg lettuce because of it’s YIN property. Chinese believe that this food is “cooling” for our body. A perfect food therapy, if you had been eating too much deep fried food or bbq stuff.
This salad is inspired by Japanese food and serves 1 person. Me 🙂
half an iceberg lettuce duly cleaned and cut into small pieces.
half a block of toufu cut into cubes
Roasted seaweed cut into strips and used as topping
Toasted Sesame seed
One table spoon Japanese soy sauce
One table spoon Teriyaki Sauce
One table spoon mayonaise
One teaspoon sesamee seed oil
Dash of wasbi
Mix ingredients for the salad dressing together.
Arrange lettuce and toufu in a plate. Drizzle the dressing over the toufu and greens. Top with roasted seaweed and sprinkle sesame seed.

A salad that is easy to prepare and has high “cooling” property (high water content)
